THE H4P ORGANIZATION’S ABILITY PRAISE CONCERT (APC) 2025 CELEBRATES TALENT AND INCLUSION FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITY.

The Ability Praise Concert (APC) 2025 was a heartwarming celebration of talent and inclusion, spearheaded by the compassionate Bishop Dr. Charles C. Hackman, founder of the H4P (Here for Perfection) Organization and Lead Pastor of Fire City Chapel. This concert, part of H4P’s mission to honor the dignity of persons with disabilities, provided a unique stage for these individuals to shine through their artistic expressions.


On February 1, 2025, the Fire City Chapel was filled with anticipation and excitement as the 4th Edition of APC unfolded, marking the 14th Anniversary of the H4P Organization. The event was a testament to the belief that ability triumphs over disability.

The concert featured an array of talented artists who transformed the venue into a haven of worship and celebration. Mr. Dave Laryea captivated the audience with his soulful performance from his latest album, showcasing his exceptional keyboard skills. Following him, Mr. Lawrence Abban led the audience into a deep, worshipful atmosphere. The stage was further graced by Douglas Makafui, Patrick Mensah (a.k.a. MP Nation), Ishmael the Worshiper, and Uncle Ato, each artist demonstrating that talent knows no bounds.


The performances were nothing short of awe-inspiring, reinforcing the powerful message that "disability is not inability." The energy in the room was electric and the spirit-filled atmosphere left guests yearning for more, even suggesting that the concert be held quarterly.


Distinguished Guests of Honour, Dr. Peter Kwabena Obeng-Asamoa, Executive Director of the Ghana Blind Union and Mr. Alexander Tetteh, Executive Director for Employment for Persons with Disabilities, graced the event with their presence. Dr. Obeng-Asamoa, in his opening remarks, expressed his admiration for Bishop Hackman’s impactful work and highlighted H4P’s upcoming Ability University as a revolutionary project. Mr. Tetteh echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the concert’s role in empowering individuals with disabilities.


The event was attended by representatives from various disability organizations, including the National Council on Persons with Disabilities, the Ghana Federation of Disability Organizations, the Ghana Society of the Physically Disabled, Ghana Association of persons with Albinism, Sharecare Ghana, Mental Health Society of Ghana, Centre for Employment for Persons with Disability, Ghana Disability Forum, Accra Rehabilitation Centre - underscoring the concert's significance.
Dr. Peter was moved beyond words by the performances, and Reverend Clement concluded the program with a heartfelt prayer for Bishop Dr. Hackman and the H4P Organization.
The Ability Praise Concert 2025 was more than just a showcase of talent; it was a powerful affirmation of inclusion and empowerment for Persons with disabilities. APC stands as a beacon of equality, celebrating the extraordinary potential within every individual.
